Taking up Japan Studies was one of the greatest decisions I’ve ever made. I was able to meet and interact with the wonderful and beautiful Yokohama National University students. Although we barely had a week to do all the fun stuff together, it was worth it. In fact, I only met them two weeks ago during the Welcome Dinner when some UP students, including yours truly, participated in the Noh Ensemble. The US Military bases class discussion was the second time.
Then came the day when we had a field trip to Clark and Bataan.

So… I present to you my military patches gallery... not. XD

Natsumi with the “American teacher” whom we thought was wearing a wedding dress. =P Honestly, just how many weddings took place during the American period? Just kidding.

Military pins that I’m dying to earn. =))

Hot military uniforms.

The first time I set foot on Mt. Samat particularly Dambana ng Kagitingan. So freakin’ cold up there.

Chiho-sensei who speaks Filipino fluently. Gotta love her. =)

The view was priceless. I insist people to visit Mt. Samat someday.

Two of my schoolmates who also joined the trip.

At Bataan Nuclear Power Plant. I called it “the other extreme” since we all felt hot. Yeah. =)) Long story. But seriously, the place was like a desert. An awesome desert. =)

The bats were down there. Unfortunately, the sun was still up. =P So… you know.
And finally, the time when we bade farewell to the YNU students drew closer… Farewell party = Huhuhu. o(╥﹏╥)o
Can’t wait to visit Japan soon. =))
